The WorkFlow Process
- Author dictates using a digital voice recorder, our toll-free dictation service, PC Mic, etc ...
- Author uploads the audio files onto SpeechSmart from the audio device then encrypted and sent to the ME Server. The toll-free dictations are encrypted as well and are directly sent to the ME Server through the Toll-Free Server.
- Transcriber receives the encrypted audio file through I-Scribe for transcription.
- Once the transcription is completed, the file is sent to the Quality Assurance (QA) for proofing in I-Scribe.
- Once QA is finished proofing the file, it is sent back to the ME Server as an encrypted file.
- The author receives the transcribed document in SpeechSmart and/or ProLink.
- From there, the author has the option to edit, print, approve, and archive the files.
